Where is Cake in a Cup NY® located?
Cake in a Cup NY is a specialty cupcake and cake company located in Bronxville. We do not have a storefront location at this time. Our products are baked and prepared in a commercial kitchen.How long can I keep a cake or cupcake after I have received my order?
Our products are baked within 24 hours of event time. We recommend that cupcakes be consumed within hours of the event for the best taste and freshness. Our cakes will remain fresh 2 - 4 days by tightly wrapping with saran wrap and kept in the refrigerator. But since they will be all gone, there will be no need for this step. 0:)How do I transport my cake/cupcakes?
Your cake must sit level in your vehicle. The space around the cake needs to be air conditioned, especially in
the summer and the cake needs to be kept out of direct sunlight too. The trunk is not a good place to transport
your cake especially on warmer days. Lastly the driver needs to drive carefully.
Once the cake/cupcakes are picked up my responsibility for it ends. I can not be held liable for damages caused in
transit, or if the cake is moved once I set it up on location.What is the minimum I can order?
We require a minimum order of one dozen in each flavor. Currently we do not offer a variety in the dozen box.Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes, we offer payment options for large orders. 50% of your total is required to hold the date and will be considered a non-refundable deposit. The balance of your order is due in full 3 weeks before the event date. Cake orders placed with less than two weeks notice require payment in full by cash or credit card at the time of ordering. Deposits are non-refundable.What is cancellation policy?
All requests for order cancellations must be made in writing to Cake in a Cup NY. 50% of your total order will be a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit up to 2 weeks before your event date. We will grant you a 25% refund of your total order amount within 5 days of your event date.Do you deliver?
Yes, we do deliver and delivery will be priced according to your location.Do you ship cakes/cupcakes?
We do not ship any of our products.Do you provide samples/tasting?
Yes we do provide samples at no additonal cost. Tastings are usually held once a month depending on volume of orders.Can I pick up my order?
Yes, orders are available for pick up.How far in advance do I need to order?
Customized specialty cakes and large cupcake orders require a 3 - 4 week lead time. This ensures that we not only meet but exceed your expectations.
